Okay, it has clearly been a few years since I've updated this thing.
A few quick updated facts about my current life:
I am single and have been for quite a while
I am currently back living with mom (although really, I'm paying all the bills so what gives?)
I am currently working for the public sector although my contract is about to end
I still don't know what to do with my life
I'm back and making my daily musings. Hopefully this will help me jump-start some inspiration.

a feeling that I have never known
forgotten memories I was unable to keep
but a whispered dream I was shown.

I dream of shadows in the night
and moonlit strolls by a turquoise sea
I dream of lifetimes gone by
when there was only you and me.
I see shimmering drops of water
like so many wishes I once made
each shadow holds disappointments
and debts that were never paid.
I smell softly perfumed breezes
and nostalgic feelings that they bring
a time of such joyful happiness
and of a magical, mystical thing.
I feel sensations too marvellous
for any words to try to describe
each feather-light caress ignites-
fire I thought had died.
I hear words spoken long ago
sweet whispers in the night
from one who loved so deeply
'turned from shadows to the light.
I know that it was a lifetime ago
when my soul was shattered in two
my heart was given with all of me
and now what’s left waits for you.
